The Ethos arrived
Today, June 19, my shipment of Ethos arrived. It was 105 degrees in Tracy, California, and my car was overheating again, so I pounced on the non-descript box with great glee. I had been anticipating this moment for a couple of weeks and anxious to start testing the product.
After opening the box and seeing the quart size bottles, I immediately went down to the gas station and filled up my car with 11.04 gallons of regular gas at $3.029 per gallon and computed the mileage at 23.47 mpg.
My next step was to add the Ethos to the gas tank, oil reservoir and transmission. I was a bit disappointed, there were no instructions included in the package, only the bottles of Ethos. There was also no method of measuring how much Ethos I was adding. I remembered from the conference calls that I was supposed to add two ounces to the gas tank, and a little bit to the crankcase and transmission. It would help a lot if marks were added to the bottle every two ounces. (Marks were there and instructions! I had to come back and edit this because my old eyes had not seen the instructions or marks)
It was late, so I did not drive the car until the following morning to go to my Breakfast Lions meeting. It did not matter the speed at which I drove, there was no pinging. I have always been told that pinging was caused by the incomplete burning of the gas, if that’s true, my Buick is burning fuel more completely.
I’m looking forward to a long drive to next check the temperature.
